At The Hook Up we currently cater for a variety of clients from a range of musical backgrounds at different stages of their careers. We pride ourselves on having the flexibility to meet your specific requirements and needs.

“As an artist, The Hook Up Consultancy gives me the benefit of years of industry experience and an enormous wealth of contacts, two things that I just don’t have the time to spend the next decade building. Working with The Hook Up allows me to concentrate on the job of getting my music sounding the very best it can be. As an artist it’s important to have someone at the business end that you can trust, it’s also crucial that they too have a good pair of ears!”

“Jonny put us in touch with the best press agent who liked our music and wanted to do the work. He helped put together a timeline for the release and was always, “have you done this? have you done that?” He helped us start a label, get the songs registered in the right places, get on iTunes, get on the radio – bam bam bam. There’s a lot of stuff to know, he was a great driving force, always chasing, always on it and because of that we got good results – Radio 1, Q magazine etc. I think if you’ve got someone like that on your side with DJ, radio and label background it makes things a lot easier.”

“The thing that’s impressed me most about Jonny is his genuine interest in making my music a success. Even after the hugely informative initial meeting, he has continued to stay in touch and help me throughout my single and mixtape release. Very satisfied customer.”

“Working with The Hook Up has given me the confidence to move forward with my own music production and promotion, demystifying the music industry into a language I understand, and the contacts I have been put in touch with are invaluable”

“The Hook up gave me a real insight into how the music industry works and I have found their services extremely useful. I would recommend The Hook Up to anyone out there that is thinking about getting their foot on the industry ladder. The information and guidance they provide, along with the expertise and know how makes them a great company to use.”

    Dear team,
I am a mature acoustic singersongwriter and I have been told that my music is beautiful and should be in the hobbit film – although of course I find this extremely flattering I am wondering if the company there would be interested in using any of my material for film projects? All the material could easily be adapted to fit projects. Would it be at all possible to ask to lend an ear to a few snippets of my material for consideration, or possibly allowing me access to an for those on the musical front to consider the possiblity. Thank you for your time. Kindest regards Lee Mitchell.
