Jon Scott is not your typical singer-songwriter. When this Nigerian-born, Afro-soul optimist isn’t writing, recording and performing his inspiring songs of peace, love and unity he spends his time running his own law firm in the city of London as well as being a proud father and family man.
Jon had already released his debut album before he approached The Hook Up to help him manage the release of his second full length, “Flow Like A River” in 2009. He has subsequently brought us on board to handle a full range of label management duties including:
- A & R’ing his recording sessions down to a cohesive album
- Manufacturing the album and it’s singles
- Devising a release timeline
- Devising a concept for the campaign
- Sourcing a professional photographer
- Sourcing a production company to shoot a video
- Sourcing a designer to build him a website and the concept for the album artwork
- Promoting the album to press
- Promoting the album to radio
- Devising and maintaining a social marketing campaign
- Securing publishing deals for, film, TV and other synchs
